How to submit a takedown or correction request

To help us assess your request quickly, please include the following information:
- The exact URL(s) of the page(s) where the material appears;
- A clear description of the copyrighted work you believe has been used (including, where possible, the creator name, title, and source);
- Proof that you own the copyright or are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder (for example, a registration document, contract, or signed statement);
- The reason for your request (for example, unauthorised use, missing credit, incorrect attribution, or a request for removal);
- Your full name, organisation (if applicable), email address, and telephone number so we can contact you if we need further information.
We will acknowledge your request within two working days. We may also contact you to clarify details before proceeding.
Our response to takedown and correction requests
Upon receiving a complete and verified request, we will review the material promptly. Depending on the nature of the issue, we will take one or more of the following actions:
- Removal: if the material is found to infringe copyright or has been used without proper permission, we will remove it from the site without delay;
- Replacement: where alternative imagery is available and appropriate, we may replace the material;
- Correction of credit or attribution: if the original credit was incorrect or missing, we will update the attribution and publish a correction notice where warranted, in line with our corrections policy;
- Amendment: if the material is used in a way that breaches licence terms or editorial guidelines, we will amend the use or seek a resolution with the rights holder.
We will notify you in writing of the outcome of our review and the action taken. If we are unable to verify your claim or require more information, we will explain why and advise on next steps.
